摘要
近二十年来,光功能纳米材料因其具有优越的光热转化与光敏化能力而被广泛研究用于肿瘤光学治疗,并展现出了良好的临床转化潜力。本文结合作者自身的科研经历,展望了基于光功能纳米材料的肿瘤光学治疗在其未来的临床转化过程中所面临的挑战与机遇,倡导相关科学家直面制约肿瘤光学治疗临床转化的若干问题,共同推进肿瘤光学治疗在临床中的应用,早日造福广大肿瘤患者。
Abstract
In the past two decades, we have witnessed the fast advances of cancer phototherapy, which tightly relies on the development of a large variety of photo-functional nanomaterials with outstanding photothermal conversion or photosensitization capacities, and has showed great promising for future clinical translation. Based on our own experimental experiences, we herein offer our perspectives on the challenges and opportunities, which would be faced in the future clinical translation of such photo-functional nanomaterials mediated cancer phototherapy. We encourage the researchers in this field to dissolve these problems hindering the clinical translation of cancer phototherapy, and work together to promote their clinical translation, thereby benefiting the cancer patients in clinics.
