摘要
激光冲击强化(又称激光喷丸)(LSP)通过强激光诱导的冲击波在金属材料表层引入残余压应力, 从而抑制疲劳裂纹的萌生和发展, 是一种新型的金属表面强化技术。介绍了激光冲击强化的机理和特点以及国内外的发展现状。着重分析了该技术在应用推广中亟待解决的设备研制、工艺改进等关键问题。总结了激光冲击强化技术在改善金属疲劳性能方面的应用前景。
Abstract
Laser shock processing(LSP) or laser peening is an innovative surface treatment technique for strengthening metals. This process induces a compressive residual stress field which increases fatigue crack initiation life and reduces fatigue crack growth rate. The characteristics and the latest development of laser shock processing are introduced. Then several key issues are addressed, including the development of the laser peening equipment and the opaque overlay selection and so on. The future industrial applications are summarized.
