制备了Er3+单掺和Er3+/Yb3+共掺碲钨酸盐玻璃,测量了Er3+在玻璃中的吸收光谱和970 nm LD激发下的荧光光谱和荧光寿命,计算了Er3+离子1.5 μm波段的吸收和发射截面,研究了其荧光强度和发射带宽与掺Yb3+浓度间的关系.结果表明,共掺Yb3+可明显提高Er3+离子1.5 μm荧光发射强度,并有利于提高其发射带宽.实验所得最佳掺Yb3+离子浓度为3.66×1020 ions/cm3,Er3+离子1.5 μm发射最大FWHM值为81 nm.
Abstract
The Er 3+-doped and Er 3+/Yb 3+-codoped tungsten-tellurite glasses were prepared. The absorption spectra, 1.5 μm emission spectra and fluorescence lifetime of Er 3+ excited at 970 nm, were measured. The absorption and emission cross-sections were calculated. The dependence of Yb 3+ concentration upon 1.5 μm emission intensity and bandwidth of Er 3+ were investigated. Yb 3+-codoping can improve the 1.5 μm emission intensity of Er 3+ effectively and increase its FWHM. The optimum Yb 3+ concentration was 3.66×10 20 ions/cm 3 and a broad 1.5 μm emission spectrum of 81nm FWHM was demonstrated.
