Optical Property of CdS Nanocrystals in ZrO2 Thin Film
摘要
研究了用溶胶凝胶方法制备的CdS超微粒/ZrO2薄膜的发光特性,测量了不同退火温度处理的样品的荧光光谱、荧光激发光谱和荧光衰减曲线的变化,通过荧光衰减曲线研究了140 ps左右的CdS的带间跃迁发射和较慢的表面态发射.还测量了这种掺有CdS超微粒的ZrO2薄膜的飞秒光克尔效应,得到三阶非线性光学极化率为4.4×10-11 esu和大约100 fs的响应时间.结果表明,这类材料具有较大的光学非线性和快速的响应时间,在高速光开关等方面有潜在的应用前景.
Abstract
The optical property of CdS nanocrystals in ZrO 2 thin film has been studied. The film was fabricated by sol gel technique. Photoluminescence and photoluminescence excitation spectra of the samples with different annealing temperature were measured. Photoluminescence decay curve of CdS nanocrystals at different annealing temperatures was studied. There are two components in the time resolved PL spectrum. The faster component is due to the transition of band gap, the slower component is due to the emission of surface states. The nonlinear optical property was studied by femtosecond optical Kerr effect. The value of χ (3) was determined to be 4.4×10 -11 esu and the response time was estimated to be about 100 fs. These results demonstrate that nanocrystal samples would have potential application in photonic and optoelectric fields.
