激光驱动陷俘离子的振动压缩和自旋压缩
Vibration and Spin Squeezing in a Trapped Ion Driven by a Laser Beam
摘要
研究了陷俘离子在激光场的驱动下,离子的中心质量运动同内部能级跃迁的耦合效应.不采用Lamb-Dicke小参量近似,得到系统波函数的精确解.数值模拟表明,在适当的参量下,陷俘离子可以获得明显的振动压缩和自旋压缩.
Abstract
The coupling between the motion of the center-of-mass and the internal transition in a trapped ion, driven by a classical laser beam, is discussed. Without using Lamb-Dicke limit, the precise analytical solution of wave function is deduced in this model. The numerical simulations show that, under proper parameters chosen, the apparent squeezing occurs in both the vibration and the spin variables for the trapped ion.
