ICCD波前传感器的信号传递特性及其探测误差

摘要
夏克-哈特曼(Shack-Hartmann)波前传感器由于其光能利用率高、结构简单等优点,是目前自适应光学系统波前传感器的主要形式。分析了像增强型CCD(ICCD)波前探测器的光斑信号采样值的统计特性并提出了质心探测误差的数学模型,实验分析了C2166型像增强器ICCD波前传感器的探测精度,并给出实验分析结果。结果表明,理论分析与实验数据非常一致。
Abstract
The Shack Hartmann wavefront sensor is the most popular type in adap tive optics system operated with faint objects, because of its outstanding advantages of hig h light efficiency,simple structure. In this paper, the signal statistics of image intensified CCD (ICCD) wavefront sensor is analysized, and a mathematical model of its measurement error is given. One k ind of ICCD(C2166 type image intensifier from Hamamatsu Photonics) wavefront sensor is tested, Th e results show that the different pixel sampling values of ICCD are not independ ent statistically and the measurement signals don't obey the characteristics of Poisson distribution. Not only the photon noises and readout noises, but also th e gain fluctuation noises exist in the ICCD wavefront sensor. The measurement er ror is dependent on the light position in sampling window, and this error will b e reduced at high gain of ICCD.
