Experimental Study on the Stark Effect of Caesium Rydberg Atoms in an Electric Fields
摘要
利用原子束装置,采用双束波长为λl=852.1nm和λ2=510nm激光的两步激发,实验研究了CsRydberg态原子在外加电场为0~600V/cm时的Stark扇形图,观察到在外电场的作用下能级出现ι混合和n混合的现象.
Abstract
With an atomic beamapparatus and two lasers at λ1 = 852.1nm and λ2=510nm, the Cs atoms are excited to high Rydberg states via a two-step process. The Starkeffect of the Rydberg Cs atom has been experimentally studied in the range of externalfield 0~600 V/cm, the map of the Stark spectra reveal profound “l-mixing” and “n-mixing” of the Stark sublevels.
