摘要
本文研究了在连续泵浦和脉冲泵浦两种情况下,大模面积(LMA)掺Yb3+双包层光纤激光器的输出特性.采用连续泵浦,在最大泵浦功率为10.4 W时,得到了平均功率4.6 W、中心波长1.09 μm的准连续激光输出.采用脉冲泵浦,得到了脉宽小于50 ns、峰值功率为5.3 kW、重复频率为5 kHz、单脉冲能量为0.26 mJ的稳定的调Q脉冲输出.
Abstract
A large-mode-area Yb 3+ -doped double clad fiber laser operating in CW pump and pulsed pump regime, respectively, is described. With CW pump, a 4.6 W quasi-continuous output operating in the 1.09 μm is obtained, when the pump power is 10.4 W. With pulsed pump, the laser generates nanosecond pulses with a stable repetition rate of 5 kHz. A single-pulse energy of as much as 0.26 mJ with a peak power of 5.3 kW is obtained.
