摘要
介绍了一种新型的带有液晶或微反射镜阵列的傅立叶变换外腔结构,这种腔结构可以广泛应用于半导体激光器和高功率掺稀土离子的双包层光纤激光器.用它不仅可以实现扩展增益,快速、高精度、重复性好的宽范围调谐,可变波长间隔的多波长激光运转,而且还可以在外腔中插入周期极化晶体实现腔内倍频.
Abstract
A novel Fourier-transform external cavity with liquid crystal displays (LCDs) or digital mirror devices (DMDs) is introduced in this paper. The new design can be applied in a laser diode and a doped rare earth ions double clad fiber laser. And it allows for gain extension, fast and accurate tuning with high repetition, and multi-color operation with variable wavelength spaces. Moreover, intracavity second harmonic generation (SHG) is demonstrated using a periodically poled crystal in this cavity.
