Internal Optical Parametric Oscillator with SBS Phase Conjugate Resonator

摘要
Abstract
It is reported a novel optical parametric oscillator with KTP as medium crystal inside a Nd:YAG phase conjugate resonator. In the phase conjugate resonator, the laser beam quality is promoted by phase-conjugate mirror, which is realized by stimulated Brillouin scattering effect, and Q-switch is generated simultaneously. With this device, the laser output at 1.57 μm with 15 mJ energy and 8 ns pulse width is obtained.
