摘要
Abstract
Based on the rate equation of laser oscillation, we study the possibility of square wave output of a solid state laser in temporal domain. By means of the smooth cavity dumping, the reduction of output loss compensates the photon decrease in cavity. In experiment, we use two sets of avalanche transistor chains to control the functional voltage applied on the Pockels cell for getting uniform and pulsewidth-variable square wave laser pulse.
