热效应对克尔自锁模激光腔的影响
Thermal Effects in a Self-Starting Kerr-Lens Mode-locked Laser
摘要
讨论了克尔透镜锁模激光腔中热效应对锁模的影响, 用数值解法给出了当存在热效应时腔中光斑半径随归一化功率的变化曲线。 同时给出了存在热效应时光斑半径对脉冲归一化功率的相对敏感度参数。 讨论了克尔效应与热效应在自锁模激光器中的工作机理和所起作用, 给出了克尔透镜锁模下的热不灵敏条件。
Abstract
The influence of the thermal effect on a Kerr-lens mode-locked laser cavity is discussed. By numerical calculation, some results have been obtained, which include the variation of spot size with the normalized pulse power and relative beam-width sensitivity to the normalized pulse power when thermal effect exists. The influences of Kerr effect and thermal effect in the laser cavity are discussed and the condition of the Kerr lens mode locking insensitive to the thermal effects is given.
