光纤光栅外腔分布布拉格反射激光器中的波长转换
Wavelength Conversion in a DBR Laser with Fiber Bragg Grating External Cavity
摘要
报道了一种新型的基于光纤光栅外腔分布布拉格反射激光器的波长转换技术。获得了8nm的波长转换间隔;对注入信号的灵敏度、转换信号之间的反相特性等进行了测量研究。讨论了波长转换的机理和该技术的特点和优点。
Abstract
A new type of wavelength conversion technology is presented, which is based on a hybrid integrated DBR laser with a fiber Bragg grating as its external cavity. A conversion spacing of 8 nm was obtained. Measurement results of sensitivity on injected signal and the out of phase characteristics between input and output pulse signals are described. The mechnism of the wavelength conversion is discussed.
