2 ns大口径高功率激光对光学玻璃材料破坏研究
Damage of Optical Glass Materials with 2 ns Large Aperture High Power Laser
摘要
报道了应用诺曼斯基(Nomarski)偏振光干涉仪测量K8玻璃和掺钕硅酸盐玻璃材料在高功率大口径激光照射后破坏阈值,并分析了破坏机理。发现在纳秒脉冲激光作用下,破坏的主要机制是受激布里渊散射激发超声波引起的材料破坏。
Abstract
The surface damage thresholds of K8 glass and Nd glass exposed to 2 ns large size high power laser are measured with a Nomarski polarized light interferometer, and the damage mechanism is studied. The ultrasound wave induced by the stimulated Brillouin scattering(SBS) is found to dominate the damage at the nanosecond pulse laser radiation.
