摘要
Abstract
A new proposal for adiabatic soliton compression that uses an exponentially dispersiondecreasing fiber amplifier is presented. The evolution equation of pulse width is derived by means of variational technique. An explicit analytical approximate solution to the evolution equation for the case of adiabatic compression is obtained, and shows a good agreement with numerical simulations.
