混合泵浦两段级联掺铒光纤放大器实验研究
Experimental Study of Two Stage Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifier with Hybrid Pumping
摘要
基于内插隔离-耦合环两段级联新结构,采用980 nm与1480 nm激光二极管混合泵浦方式,研制出在1.55 μm波段兼具高增益(42.8 dB)、大功率(15.2 dBm)、低噪声系数(4.4 dB)特性的掺铒光纤放大器。
Abstract
Based on two stage erbium fiber and optical loop couping configuration, 980 nm and 1480 nm LD pumped erbium doped fiber amplifier (EDFA) has been developed. The characteristics of EDFA have investigated experimentally at wavelength of 1553 nm. Results show that the small signal gain, noise figure and maximum output power are of 42.8 dB, 4.4 dB and 15.2 dBm, respectively.
