Mutually Pumped Phase Conjugation of Three Incoherent Beams with a Novel Photorefractive Crystal

Abstract
A novel mutually pumped conjugator in which three simultaneous phase conjugation replicas are produced in photorefractive copper-doped (K0.5 Na0. 5 )0. 2 (Sr0. 75Ba0. 25 )0. 9Nb2O6 crystals. The dependence of phase conjugation reflectivity on positions of incidence is oberved and the interaction mechanism is discussed. The optimal position of incidence corresponding to the maximum coupling efficiency is found and explained with a plot of the coupling constants. The phase conjugation outputs of two incident beams can be controlled with the power of the third input beam, and the influence of the third beam on output image fidelity is also discussed.
