基于Lyot型光纤消偏器特性的研究
Characteristics of Lyot Optical Fiber Depolarizer
摘要
在对Lyot型光纤消偏器的特性进行系统的理论分析的基础上,首次推导出并讨论了其偏振度与相应变量之间的函数关系。实际制作了偏振度为2.0％的Lyot型光纤消偏器,并由此验证了理论分析结果。
Abstract
The characteristics of a Lyot optical fiber depolarizer has been investigated theoretically and experimentally. The formulas with respect to the degree of polarization and the corresponding parameters have been derived and discussed for the frist time. Experimental results verified the validity of this depolarizer architecture. A depolarizer with a degree of polarizationof 2. 0% has been obtained.
