摘要
以500 mW激光二极管直接耦合泵浦Nd:YVO4,实现了1064 nm连续激光运转。泵浦阈值功率约22 mW,获得基横模最大输出约172 mW,相应的斜效率为35.8%;在Nd:YVO4激光谐振腔内采用Cr4+:YAG作为饱和吸收体,实现了激光二极管连续泵浦Nd:YVO4高重复率被动调Q激光运转。获得了脉宽约114 ns的1064 nm调Q激光脉冲,重复率高达380 kHz。
Abstract
A laser diode directly coupled CW Nd:YVO4 laser is reported. The pump threshold of about 22 mW and the maximum output of about 172 mW in TEM00-mode are obtained with a slope efficiency of 35. 8 percent. By using a Cr4+:YAG chip in the laser cavity as a saturable absorber, a laser diode continuously pumped Nd:YVO4 laser is passively Q-switched for the first time. haser pulses of 114 ns duration are produced with a repetition rate of as much as 380 kHz.
