Peculiarities of absorption from slow atoms confined between two dielectric walls
摘要
从理论上研究了在不考虑Fabry-Perot效应时两电介质间原子蒸汽膜的吸收光谱,发现在很多情形下表现为Dicke窄化结构的谱线与入射角、膜的厚度和入射波长的比值L/λ有关.我们也讨论了当L/λ=1/2时,吸收峰和带宽相对于入射角的变化.
Abstract
The absorption spectroscopy of atomic vapor film between two dielectric walls with Fabret-Perot effects eliminated (the second surface is ideally antireflection coated) is theoretically studied. It is found that the line-shapes of absorption exhibit a Dicke-narrowing structure in several cases are strongly modified by the incident angle of the field and the ratio of L/λ, where L is the thickness of the film and λ the incident wavelength. As an example, we also discussed the magnitude and the linewidth of absorption versus the incident angle for L/λ=1/2.
