摘要
从理论上讨论了囚禁于两电介质间的级联三能级系统薄原子蒸汽膜的色散特性. 由于腔中慢速原子及泵浦-探测机制的速度选择贡献,色散谱线表现为Dicke窄化的亚多普勒结构及明显的慢光效应,当泵浦光和探测光异侧入射时这种现象更为突出. 两个叠加的色散线型,一个对应光学泵浦,另一个对应可能出现的电磁诱致透明.
Abstract
The unexpected dispersion properties of transmitting wave from a thin vapor of cascade three level atoms confined between two dielectric walls are theoretically discussed. The line shapes exhibit a Dicke-narrowing type sub-Doppler structure as a result of the slowest atoms contribution and the velocity selection in pump-probe regime. It is also found that there is a strong reduction of the group velocity of light shown by the fast variation of the dispersion in the vicinity of resonance. Because of velocity selection, the line-widths are narrower and the reduction of the group velocity is more manifest in counter-propagation regime than they are in co-propagation regime. One also notes that there are two superimposed dispersion curves, the first of which corresponds to the optics pumping, and the other (the steeper) one to possible electromagnetically induced transparency.
