摘要
Abstract
Based on binary image algebra, a novel scheme for parallel extracting the character of digitizing image is proposed. A new opto-electronic processor with two processing tunnels is built.Each tunnel of the processor is with a processing area of 33×33 pixels. By using this processor,the character extraction of digitizing image is obtained parallelly.The advantage of this processor is that ac is with parallelism, flexibility and real-time programmability for the image character extraction.
