摘要
Abstract
We have developed a new device cathode-ray-tube coupled liquid crystallight valve(CRT-LCLV) as a electrical(serial) to optical(Parallel) interface for coherent image input and used photorefractive crystal BSO as a dynamic nonlinear holographic filter aswell as video camera and CCD detector under the control of a computer to constitute a realtime joint transform correlator. Initial experimental results show it is a high Performance hybrid optical pattern recognition system.Some problems of the systems due to the Bragg angle selectivity of the photorefractive crystal volume holographic diffraction are discussed in the paper.
