Studies of an Erbium-doped Fiber Amplifier Bidirectionally Pumped by two 1.48 μm LDs
摘要
研究了1.48 μm LD双向泵浦低掺杂铒光纤放大器的增益特性和饱和输出特性,研制了一种掺铒光纤放大器,小信号净增益达26.5 dB,3 dB小信号增益下降时的净饱和输出功率为3 dBm,最大净输出功率为9 dBm。
Abstract
Studies on gain and saturation output characteristics of an erbium-doped fiber amplifier are presented in this paper. The amplifier is designed and constructed with low concentration EDF and bidirectionally pumped by two 1.48 Urn LDs. Net small signal gain of 26. 5 dB and the maximum net output power of 9 dBm have been achieved.
