LCOS 面板相位调制分析及用于全息再现系统
LCOS Phase Modulation Analyses and Using in Holographic Reconstruction System
摘要
研究了一种基于反射型硅基液晶(LCOS)面板的全息再现系统,它可以有效地提高再现图像的质量。利用琼斯矩阵详细分析了透射式扭曲型液晶面板对光的相位调制特性,推导出扭曲型LCOS 面板相位调制特性和反射效率的琼斯矩阵表示形式。以两种不同类型的最新LCOS 面板为核心搭建了两套全息再现系统,再现了计算机模拟生成的全息图。实验结果表明LCOS 面板用于全息再现可以得到很好的结果。最后,给出了像素大小等对再现图像质量的影响。
Abstract
A holographic reconstruction system based on the reflective liquid crystal on silicon (LCOS) panel is investigated,which can effectively improve the quality of a reconstructed image. For this purpose,we first analyze the phase modulation property for transmission-twisted nematic liquid crystal (TN-LC) panel,and derive Jones matrix representation of phase modulation property and reflection efficiency for twisted LCOS panel. In addition,we set up two sets of holographic reconstruction systems based on two types of latest LCOS panel respectively,and reconstruct a holograph generated by computer simulation. The experimental results show that holographic reconstruction system based on LCOS panel can get better performance. Finally,we discuss the primary factors,such as pixel size,which have influence on the quality of a reconstructed image.
