脉冲能量对水下激光雷达性能的影响
Effects of Pulse Energy on Underwater Lidar System
摘要
照射脉冲能量是影响激光雷达水下目标探测的重要因素。结合理论分析和模拟仿真,研究了照射脉冲能量对水下激光雷达探测性能的影响。研究结果表明,在水下特殊环境中,照射脉冲能量的提高有助于对水下目标的探测,但是,当激光雷达的照射能量大于一定阈值时,由于水体后向散射光的影响,会导致光电转换器件的饱和,从而降低光电转换器件的灵敏度,进而导致在照射能量增大的时候,目标的有效回波信号的波动。
Abstract
The pulse energy of the underwater lidar is studied by experiment and theoretic simulation in this paper. The result of the study shows that in underwater environment, due to the effect of the scattering of the water, the sensitivity of the photoelectric detector will be reduced and the echo of the target will be weakened when the energy of the lase pulse is larger than the range of the photoelectric detector.
