摘要
针对小型LCD的LED背光驱动芯片的电源效率问题,研究并设计了一种高效的1X/1.5X自适应电荷泵。采用结构简单而实用的PAM负反馈控制技术,使电荷泵输出电压得以稳定。分析了电荷泵相关性能,讨论了电路高效优化设计的措施。在0.6 μm BiCMOS工艺模型下对电路进行了仿真,结果表明电荷泵能够实现1X/1.5X自适应模式变换功能,具有电源转化效率高(90.8%)和输出纹波低(67 mV)的特点。
Abstract
For the display drivers of portable devices,power efficiency is a key problem. This paper researched a 1X/1.5X adaptive charge pump with high efficiency. Negative feedback loop based on PAM was used to keep a constant output voltage. Furthermore,to improve charge pumps performances,several optimized design techniques were introduced. The simulation results on the basis of 0.6 μm BiCOMS technics model show:the proposed charge pump can work under 1X/1.5X mode adaptively and have an excellent performance with a higher power transform efficiency (90.8%) and lower output ripple (67 mV).
