摘要
近年来,聚合物电致发光器件(PLED)由于其在平板显示的巨大应用前景而备受关注。采用磷光发射的窄发光峰的铕化合物制备PLED能得到良好的色度。制备铕化合物PLED获得红色发光的一般方式是利用聚乙烯基咔唑(PVK)与质量分数为30%电子传输材料2-(4-联苯基)-5-(叔丁苯基)-1,3,4-噁二唑(PBD)共混作为主体材料。本文将两种采用Suzuki偶合反应合成的铕化合物Eu(TPD)3Phen与Eu(Ph-TPD)3Phen,掺杂到以聚9,9-二辛基芴(PFO)与质量分数为30% PBD的共混物主体中,制备了有效的红色聚合物电致发光器件。通过测试铕化合物不同掺杂浓度的PLED的电致发光光谱、电流密度亮度电压特性等, 表明以PFO主体进行掺杂能得到与采用PVK主体相当的器件性能,得到器件的最大电流效率分别为0.12 cd/A 与0.45 cd/A,发光峰位于619 nm。
Abstract
Polymer light-emitting diodes (PLEDs) attract more and more attention because of their potential application in flat panel displays. PLEDs based on phosphorescent europium complexes show good color purity. For europium complexes based PLEDs, the usual practice is to utilize the blend of poly(N-vinylcarbazole) (PVK) in the presence of electron-transporting compound 2-(4biphenylyl)-5-(ptertbutylpheny1)-1,3,4-oxadiazole (PBD) whose mass fraction is 30%, as the host. Efficient red PLEDs based on functionalized europium complexes Eu(TPD)3Phen and Eu(Ph-TPD)3Phen synthesized via Suzuki coupling reaction are fabricated with poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene) (PFO) in the presence of 30% (mass fraction) PBD as the host. The performances are comparable to that of the PLEDs with PVKPBD as the host. For the two europium complexes, the maximum luminance efficiencies of the PLEDs of 0.12 cd/A and 0.45 cd/A are achieved with emission peak at 619 nm.
