摘要
介绍了在1~20 Hz电光调Q情况下,半导体脉冲激光侧面泵浦Nd∶YAG晶体腔外四倍频266 nm紫外激光器的输出特性.实验采用直腔结构,在腔外分别利用KTP和BBO晶体产生532 nm倍频绿光、266 nm四倍频紫外激光.当泵浦电流为120 A、重复率为1 Hz时,266 nm紫外激光最大单脉冲能量为15.4 mJ、脉宽8 ns,峰值功率高达1.93 mW;重复率20 Hz时,获得了最大平均功率为156.2 mW的266 nm紫外激光输出,四倍频的转换效率为10.63%.同时利用一组分光镜,获得了352 mW的532 nm脉冲绿光和423 mW的1 064 nm脉冲红外光输出.
Abstract
Using BBO single pass fourth harmonic generation,the characteristic of a pulsed laser diode (LD) side-pumped Nd∶YAG crystal electro-optic Q-switched with the repetition rate from 1 to 20 Hz ultraviolet laser at 266 nm was presented.In the experiment,a simple straight cavity adopted KTP and BBO crystal were used for the second-harmonic generation and the fourth-harmonic generation differently.When the incident pumping current being 120 A at the repetition rate of 1 Hz,the largest single pulse energy of 15.4 mJ with pulse duration of about 8 ns,corresponding to the peak power as high as 1.93 mW was obtained.At the repetition rate of 20 Hz under the same pumping current,the maximum average power of 156.2 mW,corresponding to a conversion of 10.63% from 1 064 nm to 266 nm.Meanwhile,532 nm and 1 064 nm laser output was obtained by using a volume of beam splitter mirrors and the output pulse power of them is 352 mW and 423 mW separately.
