Analysis of Backscattering Signal for a Ceilometer
摘要
分析了用于测云的最佳激光雷达波段,给出了计算雷达方程所需的大气分子 和气溶胶消光系数的垂直廓线模拟图,以及在小孔光阑存在的情况下同轴透射式测 云激光雷达的几何重叠因子模拟图,使用拟定的大气探测激光雷达技术参数进行回 波信号及其信噪比的模拟计算,分析脉冲发射能量、脉冲发射次数、滤光片半宽等 对信噪比不同程度的影响。这对分析测云激光雷达的探测性能具有基本的意义,同 时也为测云激光雷达技术参数的确定提供了理论上的分析依据。
Abstract
The optimal wavelength detecting the height of cloud is analyzed. Profiles of molecule extinction coefficient and aerosol extinction coefficient, which is necessary for signal estimation, are presented. Calculation for the geometric overlap factor with the existing slit diaphragm in a co-axial lidar is also given. Based on the specific features and lidar equation, simulations of the backscattering power and impact on the signal to noise ratio are discussed when the emitting power, emitting pulse numbers and width of the filter change. Results are meaningful for discussing the ceilometer’s detecting capability, and it offers theoretical basis to determine technical parameters of a ceilometer.
