TL16C550在一种新型光纤陀螺中的应用

摘要
再入式光纤陀螺使相互干涉的两路光在干涉之前循环进入Sagnac光纤敏感环。介绍了这一新型光纤陀螺的原理,采用专门的异步串行通信芯片TL16C550扩展DSP串口,实现陀螺与导航计算机的通讯。结果表明陀螺的数据输出可以达到1kHz,能实现陀螺与导航计算机之间的快速、稳定、准确的数据传输。研制的陀螺零偏稳定性为4.5°/h。
Abstract
By using a shorter Sangnae sensitive ring,the Re-entrant Fiber Optic Gyro (Re-FOG) makes the two counter-propagandizing lights re-enter the Sagnac sensitive ring before they interference with each other on the photo-detector. The principle of the Re-FOG was first reviewed. The communication interface of Re-FOG with navigation computer,which was extended with TL16C550,was presented. The experiment results show the data transfer between Re-FOG and navigation computer can be accomplished fast,smoothly and precisely by means of asynchronous serial communication with its frequency being 1 kHz. The bias stability of Re-FOG is about 4.5°/h.
