摘要
文章在理论上研究了原子消相干速率对Rb原子四能级Tripod系统中EIT增强的交叉Kerr非线性的影响。结果表明,交叉Kerr非线性效应随着原子消相干速率的减小而增大。当两基态之间消相干速率γ1从2.5 MHz减小到0.2 MHz时,交叉Kerr非线性折射率可增强一个数量级。
Abstract
We theoretically investigates the influences of dephasing rate on cross-Kerr nonlinearity (XPM) in the Four-level Tripod system. The results show that cross-Kerr nonlinearity become larger with the decreasing of the atomic dephasing rate. When the dephasing rate changes from 2.5 MHz to 0.2 MHz, the probe and trigger XPM coefficients will increase by one order of magnitude.
