一种基于线性规划的多基色显示系统设计

摘要
多基色显示系统采用增加基色数量的方法能有效地扩大显示器的再现色域。针对三基色到多基色的映射线性方程组解的不唯一性, 提出了一种基于亮度最大的线性规划优化算法。该方法根据颜色亮度和色域之间的关系, 用线性规划求得亮度最大值时的最优解。最后将该算法运用到了五基色显示系统。结果表明, 白点亮度达到了最大值, 同时系统的色域较三基色显示系统扩大了约20%。
Abstract
The multi-primary display (MPD) system provides simple and effective mechanisms for widening the color gamut by adding the additional primaries. For the three primary colors to multi-primary mapping of linear equations is non-unique, a maximum brightness algorithm using linear programming is proposed. According to the relation between luminance and color gamut, the method gets the maximum brightness using linear programming optimization. A five-primary display system is taken as an example for showing the method. The result shows that the white brightness is the maximum, and meanwhile the color gamut is widened almost 20%, as compared to the three-primary.
