Yb3+掺杂铋酸盐玻璃的低温发光特性

选取55Bi2O3-25B2O3-10SiO2-7Ga2O3-3Yb2O3系统铋酸盐玻璃,研究了在不同温度(9~350 K)下Yb3+离子的发射光谱和荧光寿命变化情况,计算了不同温度下Yb3+离子在976和1020 nm的有效线宽Δλeff,比较了不同温度下Yb3+离子的光谱特性和荧光寿命变化情况。发现随着测试温度的降低,测得的荧光寿命值以及荧光光谱半峰全宽(FWHM)和1020 nm处的有效线宽Δλeff却在增加。结果表明,在100 K温度以下时,Yb离子在铋酸盐玻璃中下能级的粒子主要集中于最低能级上,使得Yb离子的运转状态由准三能级系统变为四能级系统。
Abstract
The emission spectra and fluorescence lifetime of chosen 2F5/2 of Yb3+-doped 55Bi2O3-25B2O3-10SiO2-7Ga2O3-3Yb2O3 bismuth-based glasses within temperature range of 9~350 K are investigated. The effective line width Δλeff of Yb3+ at 976 nm and 1020 nm are calculated. The emission spectra and fluorescence lifetime changes of Yb3+ at different temperatures are compared. The fluorescence lifetime, full width at half maximum of emission spectra and effective line width Δλeff at 1020 nm decrease with the temperature, while the intensity of emission spectra and effective line width Δλeff at 976 nm increase. The results show that, when the temperature is below 100 K, particles in the lower level of Yb ions in bismuth glass mainly accumulate in the lowest energy level, which makes operation of Yb ions run under four energy level system instead of quasi three energy level system.
