Random access is a very important process in the establishment of uplink synchronization and connection between the UE and base stations in the mobile communication system. This article mainly studies the design of TD-LTE uplink random access technology. Considering its universal adaptability, it discuses the competition-mode-based random access process on the basis of the scenarios and types of its applications and gives a detailed analysis of its specific procedures and implementation schemes.
