光子晶体波导传输特性的计算和模拟
Study on propagation characteristics of photonic crystal waveguides
摘要
应用时域有限差分法研究了在空气孔-介质光子晶体波导中引入一空气柱后对光学传输特性的影响。结果表明:引入空气柱后,通过改变空气柱的半径及其在波导中的位置,能使其透射特性产生显著的变化。在归一化频率>0.26的高频段,透射率迅速降低;空气柱半径越大、越靠近入射源,透射率越小。通过数值模拟对计算结果进行了验证。
Abstract
The effects of introducing an air-rod into two-dimensional air-hole photonic crystal waveguides on their optical propagation characteristics are investigated by using the Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) method. The results show that its transmission characteristics change dramatically with the variation of the radius of the air-rod and its position in the waveguides. In the high frequency band (above 0.26), its transmission coefficient decreases rapidly and the larger the radius and closer to the incident source, the lower the transmission coefficient. The calculated results are verified by numerical simulation.
