基于ADPCM技术的合成语音芯片设计
ADPCM-based design of synthetic voice chips
摘要
文章作者完成了一种基于自适应差分脉冲编码调制(ADPCM)技术的合成语音芯片的研究与设计,首先将压缩的ADPCM格式的语音信号进行解码,然后利用脉冲宽度调制(PWM)技术将解码后的信号转化为PWM波,直接驱动喇叭发出声音。与传统的采用权电流数/模转换进行合成语音输出的方式相比,该语音输出方式具有输出功耗小、工艺适应能力强和设计稳定可靠等优点。
Abstract
In this article,ADPCM-based study and design of synthetic voice chips are completed. The voice signals of the compressed ADPCM format are first decoded and then the decoded signals are translated into a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) wave, directly driving the speaker to produce sounds. Compared with the traditional way of synthetic voice output by using weight current D/A conversion, the proposed approach has such advantages as small power consumption, stronger technological adaptability and stable and reliable design.
