Abstract
This article introduces a new design of optical transceiver that can transfer MIL-STD-1773 protocol independently. Adopting DC coupling and supporting working in burst mode, the transceiver is characteristic of low receiving sensitivity (≤-20 dBm), high dynamic range (≥10 dB) and long transmission distance. The paper focuses on its application background, design method, operation principle, control-circuit design, analysis of output curve and principal test parameters.
