An improved OFDM symbol synchronization algorithm based on training sequence
摘要
同步问题是正交频分复用(OFDM)应用中的关键技术。文章研究了基于训练序列的Schmidl&Cox算法(简称SC算法),并针对SC算法误差大的缺点,采用了增加计算点数和平滑最大值处理方法来进行算法的改进。通过MATLAB进行的仿真分析表明,改进后的算法虽然计算量有所增加,但有效减少了符号定时的波动,在低信噪比情况下定时同步性能有明显改善。
Abstract
Synchronization is a key technology in OFDM applications. The training sequence-based Schmidl&Cox (S&C) synchronization algorithm is studied, which is improved in view of its high estimation error by adding the calculation points and smoothing the maximum value. MATLAB simulation and analysis show that although the calculation amount is somewhat increased, fluctuations of the symbol synchronizations are effectively reduced and the synchronization performance remarkably improved in low SNR.
