电极膜层对大功率射频板条CO2激光器腔内光场模式的影响
The Effect of Electrode Surface Film on Intracavity Field Eigenmodes for High Power RF Slab CO2Laser
摘要
通过求解板条波导内电磁场本征模式, 分析了金属板条表面镀介质膜对腔内光场传输特性的影响。分析表明板条内存在着 TE0m和 TM0n两种不同的本征模式, 而膜层材料(或电极金属)的介电常数对决定波导内本征模式及其损耗起重要作用, 计算了几种常见电极波导材料的损耗系数, 结果表明金属波导中 TM波的损耗系数约为 TE波的 30倍以上, 而镀有氧化物介质膜中 TM波和 TE波的损耗系数保持在一个数量级内, 其中, 镀有氧化铝膜的波导传输损耗最小。
Abstract
The effect of electrode material(metal or metal oxide film)on intracavity beam transmission characteristics is analyzed by solving the field eigenmodes. Two modes(TE and TM)are existing in the slab, the losses of this two modes are determinged by thepermittivity of electrode material. The loss coefficient of several materials are canculated, in the metal waveguide, the loss coefficientof TM is more 30 times than TE mode's, but they are in the same order of magnitude in metal waveguide coated by oxide, specially, the total loss of two modes in metal waveguide coated by Al2O3 is the smallest.
