摘要
根据全息聚合物分散液晶(H-PDLC)的电光特性, 即在电场的作用下对通过H-PDLC的光束呈现“开”和“关”两种状态。设计了方波及正旋波调制的单通道及双通道H-PDLC斩光器。实验表明, H-PDLC斩光器频率稳定, 响应速度快(最快可达微秒级), 体积小易于集成, 无噪音, 同时通过计算机可灵活控制电场的频率, 占空比, 波形, 达到智能调制光的目的。
Abstract
According to the electro-optical properties of Holographic Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal (H-PDLC), i.e. it can appear a state of “on” or “off” for light beam when adding an electric field. The single channel and double channel electrically controlled optical chopper for square wave and sinusoidal wave is studied, respectively. This kind of optical chopper owns the characteristics of stable frequency, high speed responsibility (maximum to microsecond level), easy to integrate due to its small size and noiselessness. In addition, the frequency, duty ration and waveform of electric field can be expediently controlled by computer to achieve the purpose of intelligent modulation optical.
