Design of Optical System for Micro-projector Based FLCOS Technology
摘要
LED微型投影机是光电显示技术领域的最新发展,将引起移动数码显示设备的革命。FLCOS是一种硅基铁电液晶,比较常规的显示芯片技术,它具有色彩表现性好、响应速度快、耗能低、对比度高等优点。文章研究LED微型投影机的光学引擎系统,运用TRACEPRO设计和模拟它的光学系统,采用简单的透镜组系统代替复杂的TIR透镜,获得较高的光学效率。
Abstract
The LED micro-projector is the latest development of optoelectronical display technology and will cause a revolution of mobile digital display. FLCOS is a kind of ferroelectric liquid crystal on silicon, which has rich color, fast response and low energy consumption. In this paper, we study the optical engine of the LED micro-projector system. The optical system was designed and simulated by TRACEPRO. A high optical efficiency has been obtained bu applying a simple lens system instead of complex TIR lens.
