目标分群问题是战场态势评估的一个重要问题。根据海战场态势评估需要，对目标分群进行了层次描述;鉴于海战场目标数据空间是一种高维空间，采用高维空间的相似度函数对目标相似度进行度量，进而对战场目标按层次进行分群。通过实例验证，取得了较好的效果。

Target clustering is an important issue in battlefield situation assessment.According to the actual requirement of the sea battle situation analysis,the layers of targets clustering were described.As the battlefield target charactering space is a high-dimensional space,the target similarity was measured by similarity functions of the high dimensional space.Then the battlefield targets could be clustered by layers.The effect was verified by examples.
