Abstract
A new display technology is being developed that uses quantum dot materials. Quantum dot LED (QD-LED) has the advantage of potential high-efficiency emission, long life-time, energy saving and cost-effective. This paper presents the basic principle and pro-perties of QD-LED, as well as broad prospects and scope in the displaying industry.
