基于直方图修正的图像增强算法
Image Enhancement Based on Histogram Modification
摘要
针对传统直方图均衡算法的不足,提出了一种直方图修正方法,抑制直方图中较大的计数值;添加与邻域存在一定灰度差值的条件计数值;引入均匀分布计数。将修正的直方图用于灰度和基于YCbCr颜色空间的彩色图像的均衡增强,实验结果表明,本算法在有效地增强了图像视觉效果的同时保持了图像的细节和色彩,能够获得满意的增强效果。
Abstract
A histogram modified method is presented to eliminate the drawbacks of conventional histogram equalization (HE). The spikes in histogram are limited and the pixels which have a gray-level difference with their neighbors and uniformly distribute are included in histogram. The modified histogram equalization is performed for grayscale images and color images. Experimental results show that visually pleasant enhancement effects are obtained with the proposed method and, meanwhile, the details and the color of images are preserved.
