双折射光纤中组合孤波的传输稳定性研究
Propagating of the Combined Solitary Wave in Birefringence Fiber
摘要
以变系数耦合的非线性薛定谔方程作为双折射光纤中光脉冲传输的理论模型,数值模拟了三种新型的组合孤波:类亮型、类暗型和W型在具有三阶色散、自频移效应、自陡峭效应和五阶非线性效应,以及增益(损耗)效应的双折射光纤中的传输特性。并讨论了在加入噪声扰动、振幅微扰和相位微扰情况下三种新型组合孤波的传输稳定性。结果表明:在有限的干扰情况下,该组合孤波均可稳定传输。
Abstract
According to the coupled nonlinear Schrdinger equation with variable coefficients for the optical pulse propagation in birefringence fiber, we numerically simulated the transmission characters of three kinds of the new combined solitary: the bright-like combined solitary wave, the dark-like combined solitary wave, the W-like combined solitary wave in birefringence fiber when we took into account the third-order dispersion, the self-frequency shift effect, the self-steepening effect, the fifth-order nonlinearity and the gain (loss) effect. Besides, we discussed the propagate stability of the new combination solitary with the small perturbation of noise, the amplitude of the perturbation and the phase position of the perturbation. The result indicated that the combined solitary wave can be stable transmission under the condition of limited interference.
