With the improvement of the performance of laser and the development of the new type of laser, the security, usability and operability of laser show system have been improved significantly. It has been widely used in the stage lighting, entertainment places and outdoor display. The composition and the design requirements of the new laser show system are summarized. It’s mainly composed of the laser, the galvanometer, the color controller and the control software. The present technology status of laser system, laser, scanning galvanometer and control software as well as the capabilities of domestic and foreign advanced products are analyzed in detail. The development trend of domestic laser show system is proposed.
