平视显示器又称抬头显示器, 是在20世纪60年代问世的具有电子特色的航空产品, 主要应用于战斗机。而今, 平视显示技术已经被广泛地应用于汽车工业。首先综述了车载平视显示技术的发展历史, 阐述了显示原理, 在此基础上总结了车载平视显示技术的发展现状与典型的结构形式, 最后对车载平视显示技术未来的发展提出展望。

The Head-Up Display (HUD) is an aviation product appeared in 1960s which is mainly used on the fighting aircrafts. Now it has been widely used in the automotive industry. Firstly the history and working principle of the automotive HUD are presented. Then the current situation and typical structures of automotive HUD technology are summarized. The future development of the technology is also described.
