混合菌生物污染的表面增强拉曼光谱研究

摘要
生物污染是由微生物在滤膜表面附着并形成生物膜导致的, 严重制约了膜技术的发展和应用。表面增强拉曼光谱可用于鉴别不同的细菌, 是一种具有广泛应用前景的分析技术。本文采用SERS技术研究了滤膜表面两种混合菌形成的生物污染, 通过对两种菌SERS谱图进行分析, 判断出了混合菌生物污染中的优势菌, 并利用扫描电子显微镜进行验证。结果显示SERS可以成为一种快速准确的研究生物污染优势菌群的检测手段。
Abstract
Membrane biofouling, caused by the attachment of bacteria and growth of biofilm on the membrane surface, greatly limits the application and development of membrane technology. Surface-enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS) has been proven to be a promising technique for the identification of different microorganisms. In the present study, SERS was utilized to evaluate the dominant bacteria in the mixed biofouling formed by two model bacteria (i.e. Staphylococcus aureus and Brevendimonas diminuta) on the surface of micro-filtration membranes. SERS results were consistent with the observation via scanning electron microscope. This demonstrated that SERS could be used as a sensitive and rapid technique to evaluate the dominant bacterium in the mixed biofouling.
