Optimization of a Holographic Waveguide Plate
摘要
经过理论分析和计算,结合加工难度,提出了对全息波导显示系统中全息波导板的优化方法.对28°圆视场、30 mm×30 mm系统出瞳的全息波导显示系统中的全息波导板进行了优化.输入全息光栅尺寸、分束膜尺寸和输出全息光栅尺寸分别为5 mm×30 mm,30 mm×30 mm和30 mm×30 mm,波导板材料、波导板厚度、上波导板厚度和下波导板厚度分别为BaK7,3 mm,0.75 mm和2.25 mm时,能够满足所要求的全息波导显示系统视场和出瞳性能要求.通过优化得到的系统构型可以应用于全息波导头盔显示器、全息波导平视显示器等.
Abstract
A new method for optimization of the holographic waveguide plate in a holographic waveguide display is proposed according to theoretical analysis,calculations and manufacture difficulty level.A waveguide plate for a holographic waveguide display system,with 28° field of view and a large exit pupil about 30 mm×30 mm,is optimized by this method.The performances of this holographic waveguide display system can be satisfied by an input holographic grating of 5 mm×30 mm,an output holographic grating of 30 mm×30 mm,together with a glass(BaK7) waveguide of 3 mm thickness,which is divided into two waveguides,one has 0.75 mm thickness and another 2.25 mm,by the beam splitter.This configuration can be applied to a Head-Mounted Display(HMD) or a Head-Up Display(HUD).
